Bear arrived at
NSWAR from a NSW council pound.
This pup presented to NSWAR with a penetrating leg injury, and
radiology of the
leg revealed no fractures and no foreign objects.
We do not know the
cause of the leg injury to this beautiful boy.
significant soft tissue damage and infection to his leg
has now been resolved.
This seriously ill
boy was on intravenous fluids and antibiotics
almost one week.
The muscles in
Bear's injured leg had begun to atrophy and he required
extensive physiotherapy in order to walk.
Bear was at NSWAR in our special needs unit for many weeks.
